Both systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and APS (antipho spholipid syndrome) are associated with HLA-DRB1 polymorphisms [1]. Our objective was to investigate whether these or other genetic variants in the HLA-DRB1 region are associated with specific auto antibody production in SLE and secondary APS in the European part of Russia
